Two hands are held tightly in a supportive grip - rehabilitation and recovery, Athens Neurotraining

Restoration & Recovery

- The process by which something that has been damaged returns to its previous good / normal state
- One of the most basic actions after an injury, a surgery or a serious illness

Neurofeedback / NFB ensures:

- Functionality & performance.
- Improvement of neurophysiological functions.
- Stress management.

The contribution of qEEG Brain Mapping & EEG Neurofeedback

qEEG Brain Mapping does not determine the cause of difficulties, is not a standalone diagnostic tool & does not predict the course of rehabilitation. It records & analyzes the electrical activity of the brain, providing data on its function, which is taken into account with the history & overall picture of each individual.

During EEG Neurofeedback, the brain receives real-time visual & auditory feedback, which changes according to its electrical activity. If its application is deemed appropriate, training can focus on functions such as regulating alertness, maintaining attention & managing emotional intensity.

The program is individually designed, based on the qEEG Brain Mapping data, the history & the rehabilitation goals. EEG Neurofeedback can be integrated as a complement to a broader interdisciplinary program & does not replace medical monitoring or other appropriate rehabilitation interventions.

With the aim of:

  • Strengthening the ability to maintain attention

  • Improving the regulation of alertness & emotional intensity

  • Supporting mental resilience to the demands of everyday life

  • Optimization of daily functionality within the context of overall rehabilitation
